I went to the grocery store on Wednesday and purchased several items. I did not get any sweets or snack items, but I have a good excuse. I went to a food pantry last week and they gave me enough snacks and sweets to last me for several weeks. At least as long as I do not get depressed and pig out.

I went to a new laundromat today. You do not use coins in the washers or dryers, instead you put your bills in a machine and it gives you a card with the amount of money you put in. Then you use the card to start the washer and dryers until you run out of credit on the card. Then you go back to the machine and put money on it again. I love this because now I do not have to carry rolls of quarters in my purse so that I can wash my clothes.

I finally found apple butter
in the grocery store;
apparently I've been looking
on the wrong aisle
and on the wrong shelf.

It was on the top shelf
with the breakfast items.

Of course,
when I go to a different

it will be in a different aisle
