Glen Campbell Songs I love a lot of music but Glen Campbell is my all time favorite. I love his songs: "By The Time I Get To Phoenix", "Galveston", "Dreams Of The Everyday Housewife", "Witchta Lineman", "Jesus and Me", "Rhinestone Cowboy", "Highway Man", "Try A Little Kindness" and his song: "Dream" that he sang with Bobbie Gentry. I joined his Fan Club and got a book and an autographed picture. Listening to Glen Campbell's songs got me through Junior High. I would listen to the song Galveston and wished that I could be by the ocean. "Dreams Of The Everyday Housewife" was always a favorite. I am a housewife now and I have my day dreams. Glen's music is so relaxing and it was country and pop music. I would watch his "Goodtime Hour" Show and I loved his movies "True Grit" and "Norwood." His daughter Debbie wrote a book about him and he wasn't perfect but who is? He has a lot of talent and his personal life wasn't always good but with all the music he sings, well that may be the best part of his life. I had all his albums and I cherish the autographed picture of him and I listen to his Best Hits CD. I remember when I played one of his albums on my portable stereo, my cat jumped on it and scratched my Arkansas song. What a bad kitty. When it is snowing and I am driving and have Glen's CD on, it gets me home. Glen helps me. His music taught me about life and relationships. I know he has Alzheimers now but he is still wonderful and great. To me, he is the best singer ever.
