Day 12: Making up words

Prompt for February 12, 2015 "I wonder where I could get a white drowf?"





I never assume anything…not even that this is a typo. But it did bring to mind something that happened at work that made me laugh out loud. Since drowf is a made up word, I get to define it.





To my boss:


Me: You might start getting complaints about me.


Him: I already am.


Me: (Gave him the look.)


Him: Okay. What did you do?


Me: You know those international drug companies that call every day to sell you Viagra and won’t take no for an answer.


Him: Yeah.


Me: See this whistle. I blew it in their ear.


He’s still laughing.





Your search is over. I am the white drowf.


One, because I am.


Two, because Drowf is the curse he directed at me when I blew his eardrum out. (I’m sure it has a different meaning in his language.)
