Goldilocks Experience

Prompt: Have you ever had a Goldilocks experience? It took you three times to get it just right?

When I made meatloaf the first time. It took more then one try to learn how to make it. Getting my Drivers License. Long story short, I got my permit in Indiana which is country and small farm town and moved to Arkansas to a big town. No way was I ready for a Driver's test there in Jacksonville, Arkansas. We moved back to Indiana and I took a written test for my license and passed it. The Driver's Test? You had to parallel park and I couldn't. So I practice and went in for another Driver's Test. I drove a car that wasn't automatic and the instructor said my left turns were cut too short. So, I waited a month and went to another town in my county had a different instructor and this time I passed. She didn't understand why I didn't pass before. Me, either. It took three tries! I was a blonde like Goldilocks back then.

Making a turkey. Each year, I got better cooking one. Playing games on my Smart Phone. Sometimes, it takes more then three tries to get to the next level.

Scrapbooking and writing. I keep on learning and get it right.

The bottom line is we live and learn, keep practicing and don't give up.
