My Jesus

By Lisa Noe*Cat2*

What have they done to Him

spoke  mother Mary of Jesus

a thorny crown upon His head

stripes of blood across His back

nails through His hands

a solemn look upon His face

as He screamed out in pain

I wonder what they gained

an innocent man was nailed to a tree

God allowed it for you and me

He walked for miles with His cross

they laughed and mocked Him

as they beat Him blood drained

from His head and face,

Satan followed Him every place

He never lost his faith

a man stepped in to help carry

the cross He was deemed the

King of the Jews

As they hung Him on the cross

the women watched with

horror and cried

for they knew He would soon die

When the darkness overcame and a

light shone bright on the Son of God

Then they knew what they had done.

So His Disciples took Him to a tomb,

a rich  man gave Him room.

The scribes did not believe

they thought Jesus came to deceive.

Satan watched it all.

But on the third day He arose.

He spread the word of love.

God Love You All!
