Dream of Confusion

I had a dream of special things


I wanted to write it down


To create a poem to last a while


But on my face is a frown.





I can’t remember what to say


I try my thoughts replay


There is no rhyme


No not this time





I’ve nothing much to say


But mark my words


There’s much I’ve heard


For me to write this day





I know not what my thoughts bring about


I shall say things without a doubt


Perhaps my mind makes little sense


But that isn’t because I’m dense.





Just give me a chance to write a poem


About the dream I had


For you will see it’s not a fad


It is  about a special thing.
