A Sacrifice

Inspiration comes from you


As you gave birth to me


I adore everything you do


You’re the essence of beauty





You are moral, upstanding and sweet


With you in my life I know no defeat


Special are you


Perfection too





You have made me want to be a better person


I want to be like you, I’ll give you attention


Just as you have always given to me


I feel so free





When I know what you have sacrificed


So much to teach me of everything of Christ


You are a sainted woman I shall always love


You are as sweet as a white feathered dove.





You have done so much for me


And I shall never leave


Because you mean the world full


And the sky full 





To me!
