My Wandering Muse

Where is my muse
She’s taken flight
Gone away into the night

I sit alone
Stare unaware
Try to ponder and to care

I feel a loss
Like part is torn
Call to it and deeply mourn

I pray, come back
I need the sprite
To give me hope; make it right
