twentysixth poem for Napowrimo

I felt a Light Shine

I felt a light shine but it wasn't any light


It was full of love and redemption


the kind that only God can give. 


The light was so blinding.


I fell upon my knees


my face upon the ground.


My heart felt a little fear


because the sinful things I've done,


but my soul was filled with joy


because he is merciful with me.


He offers me forgiveness and gives


me chance after chance.


Every day I smile when I see what He


has done, so perfect in His ways.


Blessings I've been awarded by


my graceful Creator God.


With God's good graces we have this world.


In God's great wisdom He created man.


with the righteousness of God, man shall be judged.


With merciful kindness He offers salvation.


There is none who is so great and perfect


In all of His ways, none else but God our Creator.


Do you know Him?


Have you heard His word?


Do you listen?


Do you follow His laws?


Righteous are they who follow the


Lord, happy with blessings and


understanding .


The man who follows our Lord God


is a righteous child of God.
