I don't mean to pontificate
         this
but everything you say is fuckin' fake.
Where'd you grow up with that mad face,
and why does everything you say
         sound like a complaint?
I paid my dues and I don't argue
anymore like I used to over fools.
I run my show now; my crowd,
         my time
and it's about time you fell in line.
Head up, speak up,
and help me pay some of these fines
(if that's who you said you were).

Play a good show, yeah yo-
         you really ripped it up tonight
but you're still not acting right.
Stop lurchin' over teenagers.
Did mom not tell you to watch your behavior?
You need to get your ass back to the library
or I'mma call out your girl
         and say she lied to me!
'Cuz she did, and that's not really right
but what's gonna wrap them ends up tight?
Read a book or fall behind.
I really gotta start payin' them fines.

I stopped throwin' bullets 'cuz I'm sober
but I don't always put the toilet paper in the holder.
I still manage to keep my life on space
         but not MySpace, or in your plague.
I stay hungry, it's the best way.
So stop throwin' me your bitterness pancakes!

got so much to learn and room to grow.

One game up on the believer streak,
and I won't let beauties be the end of me.

Today's a whole 'nother day.

and gimme a sec while I catch my breath.
I know there's a girl who's keepin' time,
doin' her best and puttin' me in line.
We forget about sorrow;
