U30BC: Motive is overrated

Prompt for June 5, 2015: And for day five, who did it? What was your villain or murderer's motive?





Motive? Motive! I don't need no stinking motive! This is a hunter and a target. Hunters hunt. That's what they do. That's what they like. Now HOW my hunter picks the prey, that would be interesting. It all hinges on the protagonist being in the wrong place at the right time and inadvertently setting the game in play. What is the trigger? The protagonist picks up a pencil and hands it to the hunter. The target asks to borrow the pencil. The marks are set, the game is afoot. My story. I can do what i want with it.





Now I actually want to write the dang thing rather than sit here playing blogger's paradise.
