It's a question I dislike asking.
I don't want to be sterile
but I try to be PC
with my "it's out there,
so I'll swing for the fences" wit.
Why are the thoughts I lose
the least attainable
when the ones I truly need
are the ones that get away?
I mean, the thoughts that mean the most?

I needed this tonight.

Shoulda never grabbed a pen;
shoulda just made notes.
Shoulda never started,
just continued

Sick of trying to reclaim
all that I foreclose.
