My Blue Heaven

More cherished than diamonds
the gift it gives
A ticket out of Hell
to blue salvation

Innocent and small
  yet mighty and strong
    A devil and angel
      all in one

           Promises of
  a new beginning
and happiness
          pour like poison
             down my throat


I close my eyes
         and float away
           I am cradled
             in the loving embrace
                   of bliss and
                       euphoria


         I melt into pleasure
  and leave sorrow
and pain
                   behind me


I ascend
           into heaven
                   .....instead
