Trees, Bad News

Blog City Prompt: Joy asked about trees.

I think it is awful how we use so much paper and it comes from trees. We should save the trees. Carving initials on trees. I never got that. We do get sap from tree and it is nice to make pancake syrup. Trees are a thing of beauty. I know we need wood and it comes from trees. Guess I feel sorry for trees.

BCOF Prompt: Lyn asked if bad news sells better then good news.

Yes. I guess people think good news is boring and bad news makes for better conversations and if you are a real bad person, you will get a movie made about you. That is pretty sad. Bad weather, shootings, the President, disasters are depressing. Shark attacks? Stay out of the water, people. Don't camp in tents where bears live. We could help avoid bad news with these two scenarios. Guess that is why I am not a journalist.
