Day 7 Camping
Prompt: It's 43 Degrees Fahrenheit....6 Degrees Celsius this morning. Brrrr! The fire went out over night. Breaking up camp won't be hard. We are going to Cody Lodging for the weekend. Yes, hot showers and real beds for two nights. Don't try to talk me into more. It won't work. We are restocking supplies, so if you need something, now is the time to ask.

Today, we are going on a horseback adventure. Hope you are up for a good ride. We are going to explore the area. Let us know what you discover and what appeals you beside the luxury of a comfy bed and a shower.

We had a web site to go to about her destination.

Don't get this tired. We have a horse shoe competition on Saturday.

I am so ready. We went horse back riding and I love the scenery. Mountains, streams and this area was named for Buffalo Bill Cody. My distant relative Charlie Meadows worked for Bill Cody. He did card tricks and things. {This is true in my real life! Charlie is a distant relative of mine. He was nicknamed Arizona Charlie. I bought playing cards with his name and illustrated picture on them.} Prosperous Snow celebrating Author IconMail Icon is afraid we will meet Bill Cody's ghost. We didn't. I got in trouble. I stopped to pet a baby black bear and he was so cute as I hugged him. A park ranger gave me a lecture. Mama Bear was coming after me! Okay. My mistake. I am taking pictures and I will be doing a lot of scrapbooking when I get home. We saw wolves. My horse was good. I didn't fall off. I had to join the others after my black bear visit. Lyn's a Witchy Woman Author IconMail Icon gave me a talking to. I rode along Charlie ~ Author IconMail Icon. I race Charlie and my horse beats him. It is so sunny and the horses know the way. My butt will be sore but we are going to stay in a lodge. Maybe I will just stay in the lodge. There are several streams and if you want to climb a mountain, it looks nice but I will pass. You can do river rafting but I will pass. If I was younger, I would jump out of airplanes. We are throwing horse shoes tomorrow and I have never done that. I was worried about my horse throwing a shoe. I have met people I would like to throw shoes at but I promise this doesn't apply to anyone I am camping with.

We get to the lodge and I order shrimp, mashed potatoes, cooked carrots and chocolate cake. I am listening to old country music. Right place for it. I can't wait to sleep tonight. A nice hot shower. Can I just stay here?
