Blogging Circle Celebrates 1000 Days

Prompt: Blogging Circle of Friends is celebrating 1000 days. We are to write a poem, story or something about how to celebrate a 1000th Anniversary.

I guess it all depends if it is the anniversary of a country, building or town. There could be a feast of turkey, shrimp, chicken, mashed potatoes, rice, baked beans, gravy, corn on the cob, peas, rolls, potato salad, chefs salad, vegetable tray, cheese, jello, cakes, cookies, strawberries, pudding, ice cream and pies.

There could be a parade. How about a masquerade party with a dance? A bon fire at the end of the night with fireworks. The mayor or govenor gives a speech. A beauty pageant, a childrens special where they do a play, someone reads a poem. Did I miss anything? This is how I would celebrate a 1,000th Anniversary.
