Day 13 Perseid Showers, Camping

Prompt: Perseid Meteor Shower peaks tonight. It is going to be a spectacular night to watch the sky with no light pollution. We are in for a great show especially at 2:00 AM. It's going to be a short night sleeping. We'll rest tomorrow once we arrive at Canyon Village.

You will find this campground close to the breathtaking Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone near the center of the park. Offers stores, restaurants, pay showers, a coin laundry and a sanitation dump station but no utility hook ups. No camp cooking tonight. We are going to try one of the restaurants.

What did you see? How did it make you feel?

The Perseid shower was beautiful. It was like a small lightning show or one of those electric lazer shows. I felt secure and peaceful. If there are aliens, maybe they were behind the shower. All I can say is thank you. It made my night.

I made a Smores and drank a Diet Pepsi. I bought 2 with me in my back pack and I hope to get more tomorrow. Fivesixer played his guitar and sang. Prosperous Snow celebrating read a poem and I did a Drama Orientation of dancing with Mr. Darcy and a Scarlett O'Hara dramatization. You didn't know I had it in me. Can't wait until tomorrow.
