Two Guys Talking...
The youth of today have learned to read with a whole word concept. Basically, a guess, a stab is made based on the first letter or two of a word. Now English has many similar words; similar in sound and spelling, but they are still quite different words. This was illustrated this evening at a lakeside resort. Two young "men" of roughly teenage years were lounging on the beach apres swimmimg. The first guy says to his friend, "Where do you buy your shirts, Baby Gap?" The second male answers, "What?" Guy number one then says," Just kidding. Hustler?" The smart one, guy number two, shakes his head and replies, " Huh? It's Hollister."
