The New Games
The New Games
The Children sat in a Faerie Circle and played remembered games. Games passed down by their Great-grandparents. The Children's Great-grandparents probably got some of these games from their Parents, or their Great-great-grandparents. Some they made up themselves. The current Children sat in their Faerie Ring and played. Some could remember more than others. Some were better at making up new games. Even the cleverest among them though, couldn't understand that soon, not soon to them, but soon in the long-haul of things, time would bring their play-time to an end. There would no longer be Children to remember games, or make up new ones. Something New would play in the Faerie Circles.
