Wanting to be Perfect

I see myself and cringe because
I’m not the person I want to be.
I want to be perfect, I want to be great.
I see myself and it makes me cringe,
I am greedy and selfish
Just like most of the world.
I don’t want to have those human attributes,
I want to be perfect I want to be good.
