I had a deposit to make for my writers' group today. The dues are $36 per year and one particular person paid with 2 twenties so....on the deposit ticket I entered $36 and handed it with the 2 twenties to the teller. She said...Your deposit ticket says $36 and you gave me $40.
Yes. Is this confusing to everyone but me? There were 4 other check entries for $36 each. Is that a clue? But I didn't say anything, just that the $36 was correct and I needed $4 back. She said...Oh, I'll have that right out for you. So goes life today.
