    Some Thoughts


I was discussing entomology with Nabokov, when he introduced me to Bunin.

I regret when people confuse communism, a worthwhile, but unworkable idealistic goal, with Marxism, a barbaric social genocide.

Maybe I just have a bad attitude.
I believe it the epitome of ineptitude,
When one with an inferior aptitude,
Contradicts the adept.
Or when the adept
Believe themselves so adroit,
That they are capable of training,
The chronically inept.

My mania may seem to lean to the more mundane.  That's quite all right with me.  The quiddity of the mania is never quotidian to the maniac.
