I honest to God know a gay Priest.
He is a childhood friend, who had the calling
in puberty and his parents are relieved.
He was dating a girl and having a secret affair
with a boy friend. Then, his parents freaked out
when they discovered him with his boy friend.
They were so proud to learn of his desire to be
a Priest. They forgot his passionate embrace of
his boyfriend..

He remains a good Priest.

Reflections: Is this a happy life?
All I can say is he is a good friend.

But, why should a Priest be celibate?
How many more sex offending Priests can the Church sustain?
The Church objects to married Priests and commands the
parishioners to marry.
I think the Church is concerned about community property
in the Priest's family. Who gets what in the event of a
separation? Should the Church be responsible for alimony?
