Reflections of Spring

REFLECTIONS OF SPRING

As I reflect of seasons past,

I grab the memories that last.

When you and I were young and free,

And we knew not of this misery.



I looked at you with love filled eyes,

That matched the blueness of the skies.

The Spring brings to me these memories,

For that is when we started our history.



The gray winter’s days will have their phase,

But springtime will clear away the haze.

The joy of our wedding day in the middle of March,

as we exchanged vows beneath the arch.



The seasons all are special I guess,

But Spring time it is blessed.

For to me I see the springtime as a lovely victory,

It is when my husband and I went down in history.



We married in the Spring of 1986,

I guess you can call it a bit of wedding bliss.

Every time I think of the seasons of the year,

I think about my husband and the spring time coming near.
