Books, Profound Effect, Eccentric Characters
Prompts: Lyn asked what profound effect a book struck a chord with us and Joy's prompt is about the value of an eccentric character in a story.
What books struck a chord with me? You asked for it. "Twilight", Jane Austen books and Danielle Steel's. I love the vampires, werewolves in "Twilight", romance and I lie the good vampires. The paranormal mesmeroizes me and this is how I feel about "Twilight."
I love romance of Regency times and Jane Austen lived it, so who better to take you there? I get lost in her romance books and the same with Danielle Steel. She does a great job of telling a romance and drama story that one can relate to.
Eccentric characters. They make a story interesting and you can't deny that. Who wants to read a book where every one's life is perfect? Our life. Yes. Books. No. We thrive on drama, humor, suspense, romance, excitement and eccentric. They make a book exciting and gives you a smile. Who doesn't need that?
