February Prompt #23

23. Do you think the world has become more dangerous or more kind? Why?

I believe that the world has became a more dangerous place....It boils down to people and society. It is sad that the people who ARE kind are pushed aside because of the overwhelming bad people. Sad that bad outweighs good....breaking and entering, robbing, beating people, shooting, stabbing, the drug usage and overdoses...it is very very sad that these things over run the good things. I remember when I was a kid and never had to worry about the things I fear for my own kids these days. You cannot trust people it seems anymore because of all the bad things that you hear about and see that are out there.

Danger is everywhere, of course, so why do people do things like what I mentioned to make things even more dangerous? It is not right that our children cannot walk outside without the fear of them being taken, shot or who knows what else!

We only get one life...I believe that we should all make the most of it while we have it. Let the kindness show through and let the good take over the bad. Let us be able to know that once we are gone from here, our kids can carry on a safe and KIND life....It is OUR job to teach our kids to be kind to one another and know that as long as we teach them right, they will not contribute to the danger to this world! That is what us KIND people can do in hopes that someday the danger will be less.
