Napowrimo poem # 10 God’s Country Home ![]() By Lisa Noe ![]() Beautiful tulips growing in my garden The tulips are as pretty as they can be I wait each spring, the ground is hardened ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() But they push themselves through you see In spring the ground looks like the Garden of Eden The tulips are as pretty as they can be ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() They are red and yellow mixed with daffodils And surrounded by a blanket of flox Oh the beauty of the old Kentucky hills ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Where there are wild flowers growing in rocks Where mountains reach to Heaven above And are surrounded by a blanket of flox ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() In these hills is the land that I love It’s been kissed by angels, this I believe Where mountains reach to Heaven above ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() This land I love grows flowers it seems Beautiful tulips growing in my garden It’s been kissed by angels, this I believe In the clear streams I see my reflection ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() In my eyes you see flowers gleam This land I love grows flowers it seems In clear streams I see my reflection This land could pass God’s inspection. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
