For the Love of Mama

I’ve written many poems about you,
Because I love you so dear.
I appreciate everything you do
And this is very clear.

You are my mom,
You’ve raised me well,
You make me feel so calm-
Right in my heart you dwell.

You are capable and strong,
You make me very proud.
I love to hear you sing your song
You sing it clear and loud.

You are like a daisy
So dainty and so sweet.
You’ve made my life so easy,
And you’ve made it so complete.

Thank you mom for everything,
You mean the world to me.
I love all the things you bring
To this life, it’s so carefree.
