Day 7 - Favourite Flower: Tiger Lily

April 7 prompt:
Choose your favorite flower. Mine has changed over the years. But I daresay, my favorite flower is the tulip. Anyway, write a poem in whatever form you want. However, try to use non-cliche words and descriptions for your flower. Ex: Don't talk about a red rose or how it represents love. Maybe talk about the scarlet petals that bleed in anguish at a love lost. I hope I made that clear.

prompt for Day Seven comes to us from Gloria Gonsalves, who challenges us all to write a tritina. The tritina is a shorter cousin to the sestina, involving three, three-line stanzas, and a final concluding line. Three “end words” are used to conclude the lines of each stanza, in a set pattern of ABC, CAB, BCA, and all three end words appear together in the final line.

Here is the one I wrote off line before bed on the 7th:

Tiger Lily
Sleek delight
Vibrant colour
Silken sight.

Plain and simple.
