Things forever Changed
By Lisa Noe*Cat**Pawprints*

I recall a time when there was no fear
For many years no bombs did burst here

We felt exempt from the evil world
Until the day through the air they hurled

Into the buildings they flew
Killing everyone except a few

Flames and smoke filled the air
And in everyone’s heart there was despair

Into the ground the third one did explode
Brave passengers, the plane did take a hold

Things forever changed in that day
On alarm, filled with harm, now is time to pray.
