I've been saying this for years! I meditate all the time and my prayer life had gotten better b/c I approach it like meditation and not just "please bless this and help me with that". I even titled my blog 'reflections' for this reason, it could just as easily be 'meditations.
In regards to the "Spiritual Newsletter (May 15, 2013)" comment: I started writing this part of my story (hidden somewhere in the recesses of my blog, see "Chapter ?: Waking Up" ) but haven't finished. I do however have at least one short story based off part of my experience; "Getting To Know You"

Funny song: The voices in my head by Stephen Lynch
Maybe Todd got killed b/c she saw the muderer doing something incriminating like spying on other suspects.....hence using the knife/blade, they got killled in a hurry, wasn't expected
While at dinner: The guests at my table are animatedly discussing the latest murder. Someone mentions how awfully this must be affecting the hosts' party. Before I think to stop myself I add:
"Well, you know what they say, 'Mo' dead people/corpses, Moe problems.'
My fellow dinnermates stare at me, quieter than death.
Perhaps this wasn't the most opportune time to make bad puns on the deceased's name. Lucian's always telling me to watch my tongue....
Suddenly my table explodes with peals of unbridled mirth and laughter.
I remember to breath. I knew these were my type of people. I feel eyes on me. I turn to find Elvira staring right at me.
A tight and polite smile stretches her lips but her eyes are frigid as ice.
Note that as a reminder to not draw so much attention to myself or those around me in the future.....
1st guess: Jace/D'artagnan - Right now it's kind of a wild hunch, I oscillated between Jack and Sweeney...but I can't think of a proper motive. D'artagnan had an issue with the extravagance of Elvira's mansion. He almost 'skewered' Moe outside; there's the matter of the note he didn't see before it stuck to his boot, and....Dracula mentioned he has some unknown issue, though they didn't think it had to do with money.
