Napowrimo Poem # 52 April 27, 2016 Words: 142 Lines: 25 You are my God By Lisa Noe ![]() You are my God my strength my rock. You protect me from being in shock. This world will devour me If I allow But at your knees a surely bow. Because you are full of freedom and love I surely look to you above Your arms are out stretched to hold me tight You help me win each and every fight. I love you God, you shine so bright Like the stars and moon at night. I adore the things you’ve made The earth and creatures you have displayed The ocean deep, the mountains high The valley’s low you saw with your eyes. Created a world spectacular Nothing else is similar You are worthy of much praise As I live and breathe these simple days I think of you and speak your name For you and Jesus are one in the same. |
