Here I am
By Lisa Noe*Cat*

Stop
Here I am
Hear me roar
I am a beast
Hear me cry
I am the least
Watch me smile
At the sun
A new day has begun
If the rain were to fall
It would ruin it all
Give me dewy meadows
And buttercups and daisies
Give me the valley that stretches up the hollows
I see peace but can not touch
I know it’s there it means so much.
Now I know joy, and I’ve known pain
This old world is going insane
But I know love
And it knows me
This is the life The good Lord gave to me
So I make peace with the world
Just like the stone I have hurled
Into the pond that’s never green.
