Day to day stuff....a memoir without order. |
Just got back home from Kanapaha Botanical Gardens (only a few miles from me) where I enjoyed a lovely serene and quiet walk. Now I am sitting on my back porch smelling the blooming jasmine and gardenias. I should have remembered to take some mosquito spray with me as skeeters and lizards were the only "wildlife" I saw at the gardens. I'm seriously thinking about volunteering there a day or two a week One of my granddaughters and her husband are visiting Australia. A note in FB says they were at Trinity Beach (Blue Moon Grill) 10 hours ago. Can't wait till they get back and I can hear all about it. I stopped by the library on my way home and picked up June's book club read, Circling the Sun by Paula McLain. May's book is Room which I've already finished for next week's meeting. It was so difficult getting through those first few pages, so emotional, I wasn't sure I was going to be able to read it...but it did get a little easier farther along. Should be a good discussion. I think I'll have a teeny tiny nap before dinner. All my activity is catching up. until next time...c |
