Eagle
She was a photographer who had made friends with
an eagle. The eagle had a broken wing and she had mended it.
High, high what a feeling to fly. He had stayed with
her for a few months until he was able to return to his mate.

Now, she was back taking pictures of squirrels, birds, the woods
and the eagle and his mate. He flew better then ever. His mate and
him were talking to each other. She thought: I love hearing the
stories they tell."
Not that she understand their language but
it was beautiful never the less. She just smiled and he landed on her arm.

She gently petted him. All of a sudden, a mountain lion was charging at her!
What to do? The eagles flew at him and clawed him and was screeching!
The mountain lion ran off. "Thank you my friends." She thought: Is it
true I can spread my wings?
She meant improve her life, not fly.

Her photography was printed in the top magazines. The ones about the eagle
she saved had earned her an Award. She thanked her eagle friend for everything
as he landed on her arm again. He was a friend and a great photography subject.
She gathered her equipment and headed home. She would be back soon to film his babies.

She did take pictures of the babies and they soon flew on their own. She loved
filming animals but she did scenery as well. She was going to be married soon
but she loved her job and would never give up photography and she would say
again: "Is it true I can spread my wings?" Yes, she could and she did. She was the best!
