The Saga of Prosperous Snow Continues |
Thursday, June 16, 2016 The "Blogging Circle of Friends " prompt for DAY 1310 Good habits improve our physical, emotional, and/or financial health. Select one of your good habits and write a rant, poem , or story about persuading readers to make that habit a part of their lives. Gratitude Is A Good Habit Be thankful for your good habits because they help you get along with the rest of the human race. Be thankful for your bad habits because they give you something to overcome while teaching you about your true self. Be thankful each day for the rising sun because it gives you light and warmth while you move forward in your chosen profession. Be thankful for the physical, spiritual, and financial pain because it shows that you are alive and evolving emotionally, spiritually, and financially. Be thankful for the mouse that your cat places at your feet because it means that the cat considers you a member of its pride. Be thankful for each daily test and difficulty you pass because it means you are evolving spiritually. Be thankful for each difficulty and test you fail because it means you are still learning spiritually, mentally and emotionally. Be thankful for the ability to give thanks and write a gratitude list because it means you are still growing spiritually. The "Blog City ~ Every Blogger's Paradise" prompt for Day 830 Be yourself. Everyone else is spoken for. What is your take on this? Being Yourself I'm not sure how a person could be anyone else. At conception the soul and physical body merge into a single human being. Once the human body and soul become partners then the soul begins to learn. The lessons the soul learns during it partnerships with the body are intended to help the soul grow spiritually, so that when the soul and body are separated at physical death the soul is clothed in the attributes that help it survive and advance through the spiritual world toward its creator. Sometimes, for one reason or another, a person pretends he or she is someone else. In the act of pretending the person's true self will eventually show through. Pretending is like putting on a Halloween costume and then attempting to wear it the other 364 days of the year. If you wear the costume 24/7 it eventually becomes unwearable because of snags in the material or it stinks because it needs to be washed. If you wear a costume all the time then people begin to suspect you are hiding something and they lose their trust in you. |
