Day 50 Give It A 100 TV Dads
I love TV Dads from the 60's and 70's. Like on "Happy Days." Mr. C could have been my father. He was easy going and treated Joanie like a Princess. I want him for my father. He let Fonzie hang around, let Joanie marry Choozcie and helped Richie and Joanie solve their problems. He put up with Potsy and Ralph Mouth. I couldn't take Ralph. Richie was always so nice and sincere. I would have liked him for a brother or boyfriend. Mr. C. He was the perfect father.

"That 70's Show." I got Red Foreman for a father. I was a dumb ass according to Dad and he always talked about the Viet Nam War like Red talks about Korea. Red was a grouch and so was my father. I think Red was nicer then my Dad. My father has mellowed out some since I have had my health issues and he has, too. We get along better. We have always been there for each other when we are sick. He believes in God and goes to Church. I am fairly religious as well and I care about Dad. Viet Nam changed my father. Red was funny and entertaining but he is like my father and I feel like the female version of Eric. I guess having a father like Red isn't a bad thing. Actually, it can be entertaining.

"My Three Sons." Steven Douglas was a good father. He had all boys but was great with his daughter-in-laws. I thought he was a perfect Dad as well. He adopted Ernie. He was a widow until he married later on and had a step daughter. He was a great father to her.

I guess it is amazing how we can see our lives through TV Shows. You have to love the old comedy show TV Dads!
