There is a large skinny grey squirrel who has taken up residence in the back yard over the week end. It is a larger squirrel than a red squirrel and it has a larger voice. It was screaming from a large tree and 5 a.m. this morning.

Summer solstice arrived with the Strawberry moon in tow. Our meteorologist said it was the first time for that particular event in 70 years. It reminds me I have to find a strawberry farm and get in some strawberries in the freezer for the year. strawberry shortcake in the winter months is a great treat. We are fortunate to have a lot of farms near us that grow strawberries.
