Day 66 Give It A 100 Rainy Days and Mondays

Karen Carpenter sings: "Rainy Days and Mondays" always get me down. I love the rain but I don't like tornado weather. If I had plans to go the Beach or shopping, I don't like shopping in the rain especially at an outdoor mall.

Mondays I don't mind. I work midnights and I treasure my nights off. I don't like working weekends. When I work a weekend, I get Monday off. That works for me. Most people work on Monday till Friday. Working midnights, I don't work more then two in a row. I work four nights a week and sometimes three when I can. Next month, I am taking five nights off. My husband, mother and I are going to Michigan. We are going to Frankenmuth, Michigan to the Christmas store. This town is a tourist attraction. I am over due for some me time.

I drove home in the rain today. Farmers around here in Indiana need the rain. I would love to live in Washington state. It rains all the time. I lived there when I was five years old. I love it there and with "Twilight", I want to go there someday.

Rainy days. I feel content. Mondays get a bad rep. I don't mind Mondays. I guess I don't hate any days of the week unless something bad is going to happen. To me, winter gets me down. Summer I appreciate. With a possibility of rain and sunny right now, I am content.
