Historical Event

Prompt: Have you ever been to a historical event and dress the part of the time era? If not, would you like to?

When I was eight years, the town I lived in Indiana, turned 100. Everyone dressed up like that time era. I wore a red and white polka dot dress and had a bonnet to match. I couldn't understand why everyone was dressed this way but I liked my long dress and bonnet. There was a parade in town and some horses and carriages for show. It was fun. Now, that I am older, I would love it.

My mother and I went to a Victorian Tea a few years back and we didn't dress up but some women did. There were Victorian dresses on mannequins. There were Barbie dolls on tables all dressed up in home made Victorian dresses.

My mother and I are going to a 1920's Tea in September and I am dressing up as Lady Mary Crawley of "Downton Abbey." My mother is making my dress. I am really looking forward to this event.
