Day 78 Give It A 100 Steel Magnolias
I love "Steel Magnolias". It is a favorite movie of mine. I love Tom Skerritt. He could have been the father I wanted. This is a woman's movie and it focuses on women. I love the line when Dolly Patron said she is just yelling at her husband and says: "I can do that you know." Sounds like me when I say something to my husband.

Gossip happens at a beauty shop like in this movie. My aunt has a beauty shop. Women gather there to gossip. I like the wedding reception and armadillo cake. I wish I could have been there dancing. I enjoy the scenery and beautiful houses. I think this movie takes place in Georgia. It is so neat it covers all the holidays. These women are all good friends and women have powerful friendships. I have good friendships with my friends.

The sad scenes where Julia Roberts' character dies and the funeral scene. I cry over these. Mean ole Weiser and her dog. There is a lady who lives by me who is this hateful and thinks she is so wonderful. Weiser is more likeable if you can believe that.

I like the Wedding scene and I watch this movie every once in awhile. I can relate to this. Makes me want to visit Georgia and see the beautiful scenery. I see this movie and think of my female friends and I am blessed. This movie reminds me of that. I watch it every once in awhile.
