I love this song and when he sang this in "Purple Rain, Apollonia was crying. So was I. She is beautiful and so was Prince. She shouldn't have hung out with Morris. Like seriously. I like Morris but not for a lover! I love when Prince sang this song. I liked when he laid down on the floor and sang. My son was twelve and would imitate Prince real good in this song.

A beautiful love song. I sing it every once in awhile. It is like Prince could sing a wild dance song and then a ballad like this. He had so much talent and I am glad he shared it. This song was well named. "The Beautiful Ones." A nice quiet song that speaks from the heart.

I have said it a million times but I love watching "Purple Rain." Thank you Prince for this ballad and all your songs. You were beautiful. I think I have taken your death harder then George Harrison or Patrick Swayze and David Bowie. I loved you all. You are the beautiful ones.
