Long Weekend

After a hellacious two weeks at work I decided on taking a couple vacation days, Friday and Monday.

After a nightmare of a drive yesterday I fan ally made it back to Sherman. I can't think of any time where I've taken a road trip and been in a brake check covering such a long distance, nearly 600 miles. It definitely ranks up there with one of my top ten worst driving experiences.

Add to that hitting Dallas just in time for the afternoon rush hour and I had hit a blood pressure boiling point. I have to ask, how in gods name can anyone live like that; commute like that, every day? It was insane! It took almost two hours to get through Dallas and vicinity! Ugh! I'll keep my little neck of the woods; metropolis is for the birds.
