Do you have a lot of Trick Er Treaters at Halloween?

No. We live in the country. We only had 2 or 3 and then just my cousin's daughter Emma but she got too old for Trick er Treating. When we lived in town, I ran out of candy and had to go buy more. Halloween night is quiet for me.

Do you have different food menus you prepare in October and the winter months then you do in the summer?

I make friend chicken, pork chops, hamburger helper, TV Dinner Encore Turkey meals, roast, noodles and mashed potatoes all year round. In the winter I make vegetable soup, Chilli, meatloaf, spaghetti and a big turkey dinner at Thanksgiving. We have take out food on weekends. I will bake 1 or 2 small turkeys in the winter.

Do you feel the weather is eerie in October due to being Halloween month?

Yes. The clouds are dark, not much sun, a lot of rain, cold and a full moon a lot. I love it. Winter, you have snow and a lot more cold. Frost and dew happen a lot and it feels like autumn and October.

Do you watch Halloween movies? What are favorite Halloween movies?

I love movies at Halloween. I love: The Worst Witch, Old Dark Shadows series, Twilight Saga movies, Practical Magic, Queen of the Damned, Dark Shadows movies, The Great and Powerful Oz, The original Wolfman movie with Lon Chaney JR, Munsters episodes, Bewitched and Sabrina, the teen-aged witch episodes.

Do you throw a Halloween party or go to Halloween parties?

No. I went to ones at college and I was a saloon girl one time and won for cutest costume. This year, I am wearing my Lady Mary Crawley purple and lavender dress to work.

Do you bake pumpkin pies or make special Halloween cakes and cookies?

I can't bake pumpkin pies. I make Halloween funfetti cakes and cupcakes or just chocolate cupcakes. My mother and I made a chocolate pumpkin shape cake one year. We made the frosting orange. I love using a mini cupcake maker to make cupcakes.
