On this day in 1911, the first movie stuntman was hired as a stand-in for The Military Air-Scout. Tell us about a time in your life when maybe you could've benefited from having a stunt double...bonus points if you make me laugh!

A stunt double.... hmmmm. I think I may need someone for my klutziness.... but beyond that..... well, how about someone to go to work for me in a crazy classroom while I stay home and read... and write.

I think I am good. The crazy classrooms and the klutziness make good writing fodder; so I'm good. No stuntmen needed here.... unless they are tall, built and gorgeous.

Cat circles the edges
looking for clues
Trying to find
Something he might chew...sss

I'm in an odd mood tonight. A little tired from working in one of those crazy classrooms.... on a Friday!

Curiosity stirs the cat
Ears perk up
Whiskers twitch
Eyes narrow, ever watchful
Tracking the prey
Then rising on velvet feet
Follows at a distance
crouching down
watchful
Then pouncing
Claws unbound
As prey cries out
And scurries for cover
Cat gives chase
But the prey makes its escape
This time...
Cat settles, eyes narrow
Then shrugging it off
turns to lick her ruffled fur
Then look for a patch of sun.
