Job 1:6; Genesis 6:2-5 |
Onix is a healthy mature female. Her race are noncorporeal and she is tired of being pursued by Booram, a male of her species. They live in dark matter and feed on cosmic radiation. "Listen to me. I know what I'm doing." Booram insists that Onix stop slipping out of his gravity field. "Do you want some parsley?" Onix asks. "What?" Booram is confused. "I'm having a delicious salad at a restaurant on Earth." Onix giggles. Booram races down her astral project to the restaurant. "Hey! May I sit with you?" He asks Onix in his male carbon based form. He has purchased the same salad. "Don't be shy." Onix giggles. They share a pleasant moment eating their salads. Booram is impatient, "I want to mate now." "We can't in this public place. That would offend the humans and the radiation would kill them." Onix feeds some parsley to Booram. "Why are you making this so difficult?" Booram queries. "I am not your play thing. I am a God." Onix replies. Booram jabs at his salad in frustration, "Where?" Onix winks her right eye, "Down a black hole of course. The radiation will be contained there." Booram runs his fingers back through his golden hair and takes a deep breath, "When?" Onix smiles and sips her bottled water, "When I say so." Booram slurps his vanilla shake, "You said that a millennium ago." Reflections~ The burden of reproduction is unfairly placed on the female of the species. (@)(@) V |
