HIS MESSAGE IS "COME..." - December 16

Let the good news of the gospel sink all the way into your spirit today.

As long as we are alive on this green earth, God's message to us by His Holy Spirit through the Lord Jesus Christ is "COME..."

His first calling is to repentance, His mission being always to seek and to save sinners.

…Jesus answered, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.” Then they said to Him, “John’s disciples and those of the Pharisees frequently fast and pray, but Yours keep on eating and drinking.”… ~Luke 5:32

"...For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.” ~Luke 19:10

He calls us out of darkness and into relationship with Him... wherein we allow Him to be our teacher.

"Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light." ~Matthew 11:28-30.

And to all those who answer His call in this life, once more at the sound of the last trumpet, He will call us:

Then the King will say to those on His right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave Me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave Me something to drink, I was a stranger and you took Me in,…' ~Matthew 25:34&35

But to some, the good news of the gospel holds no value... and by rejection and unbelief, they trample the blood of Jesus underfoot.

…For we also received the good news, just as they did; but the message they heard was of no value to them, since they did not share the faith of those who comprehended it. Now we who have believed enter that rest. As for the others, it is just as God has said: “So I swore on oath in my anger, ‘They shall never enter My rest.’” And yet His works have been finished since the foundation of the world. For somewhere He has spoken about the seventh day in this manner: “And on the seventh day God rested from all His works.”… ~Hebrews 4:2-4

Yet, Jesus continues to call us... Won't you hear His voice today and heed the call?

Jesus believes in you... in your inherent value, won't you believe in Him?
