The Blogging Circle of Friends prompt for January 11, 2017 is "Prompt: "Thinking: the talking of the soul with itself." Plato Write your thoughts on this inspirational quote."

I hadn't really looked at it that way, but I can agree with Plato. For thousands of years man has attempted to figure out the seat of the soul. What is that one aspect of man that sets us apart from animals? That aspect is the soul, or if you will, the mind. I have a serious problem in that regard though because my mind went wandering a long time ago and never did return. It probably graces the side of some lonely milk carton. I put an A P B out for it and issued an amber alert, but it's still gone. It's been years and I doubt it will ever return. So when I hear noise in my brain I know it's probably the wind blowing or my rocks rattling. That's perfectly fine because my new girl friend tells me the rocks in my head will fill the holes in hers!
