The Saga of Prosperous Snow Continues |
Thursday, January 12, 2017 "January, month of empty pockets! let us endure this evil month, anxious as a theatrical producer's forehead." Sidonie Gabrielle Colette The Wildcard Round prompt for "30-Day Blogging Challenge ON HIATUS" I just spent the bulk of the evening reorganizing my WDC portfolio a little bit. I do it maybe once or twice a year. How often do you organize yours? How do you have yours set up? Are your folders arranged in any specific order? Guide us on a virtual walking tour of your port. It's 2017 and the last time I organized my port was sometime in the last three or four years. It's time to do it again because I have to move some items from "All Kinds of Genre" (the folder where I keep the items I submit to contest) to whatever folder they belong in. I know it's time to organize because I need to make room in my port for other items. This means putting some of the short stories or flash fiction stories in some books. I dislike doing this because I seem to get stress deciding which stories to put in what book or what folder. I'm seriously considering putting this off until February because I January is always a stressful month when it comes to finances and other things. This January is more stressful then normal because we plan on moving in either February or March which means I have to do some other organizing in the house. I'd much rather do port housekeeping then apartment housekeeping. I have a walking tour of my port in "Map of My Port" which lists all the folders that I have in my port. I just checked it and found all my folders are listed and accessible. Now all I have to do is get in there to begin rearranging and organizing. I need to do some sort of organizing this afternoon; however, I think I'll start with my desk rather then my port. All though I can always change my mind. I prefer organizing my port rather then my desk. |
