JAN 22--Moderator Review and WdC Goals

Written for "30-Day Blogging Challenge ON HIATUS"  with Prompt: Seven WDC authors were just promoted to Moderator status! ("Note: Congratulations to...") Visit one of their ports and review one of their items...and in your entry here, now would be a good time to tell us what your goals are for being with WDC (whether you're a newbie or someone who's been around the block awhile). I did a review for my buddy, Angus. He's a great guy and an even better writer! I always enjoy his work... unless I'm competing against it. lol Review of "Out Of Place"

One of my goals for WdC is to become a Yellow Case. I'm still pretty mad at myself for the last round of Yellow Case promotions. If I had been active and not chosen, so be it. I'd know that I was just deemed not yet ready. Okay. HOWEVER, I had gone out of town for some brain scans, then got behind, then got freaked out about how far behind I was, then got depressed about various things going on, etc., etc. Basically, I was gone for like 6-8 weeks. During that time, they had promotions. I'm not mad at WdC. They didn't know if I'd ever come back again. I'm mad at myself for my poor timing.

Another goal is to get better at grammar and punctuation. I'm enrolled in New Horizons and taking 2 classes now, so I'm working on that as we speak.

One goal I hope to actually accomplish while on vacation at my brother's house, is to finish my Hook to Book, "Hook to Book, Round 3-Sheriff Sam Rabbit" . He has 2 little kids, so I'd like to finish it and read it to them. It won't be polished enough to be publishable, but maybe they'll enjoy it anyway.

I'm not sure this is exactly a goal here, but I use WdC for socialization because, aside from going to the VA, I don't get out much. I REALLY appreciate WdC for that! There are some really awesome people on here!
